Quotes from the 2009 PSNext Conference

  • Thank you for a great user-group session (my first of many hopefully). It was perfect. -  Michelle Hartslief, General Manager, TELESURE.
  • The venue was fantastic and the course was full of information, especially the personal presentations that took place in the morning. I do believe that my complete team should attend this conference in the near future as well.  The cost was quite reasonable and the food was out of the world, well done. - Stefano D'Aguanno, Projects & Implementation Manager, SIEMENS.
  • Thank you so much for holding the conference in high quality, it is really fruitful for us to keep talking and communicating as well as getting new updates.  Congratulation to you and your team, WELL DONE. - Saeed Shahmoradi, SASOL TECHNOLOGY.
  • The attendance of the event was of great value to me.  It was good to hear from current users the challenges they faced before PSNext and how PSNext contributed to resolving some of their issues. It was also good to hear their honesty in making it clear that PSNext is not a silver bullet that will resolve all issues over night but that it can do it if properly planned and implemented. - Hennie Zaayman, DIRECT AXIS
  • What I found interesting was the input from  different industries and how they have used psnext to their benefit. The morning session would be ideal time for seniors to join in. It’s quite nice to hear different scenarios of success stories.  I must just mention that hearing other users speak of Psnext makes me more enthusiastic at the capabilities of this program. I think because this is such a new project system it has the potential to evolve into something amazing. - Paula Green, IS SERVICE.
  • Firstly I would like to thank you for the opportunity of attending the conference, I found it extremely interesting and enlightening.    I found the speakers to be confident and sure of their respective presentations. All the speakers were professional and passionate about their respective subjects. Each one was clearly an ambassador for their companies and for PSNext. The venue was amazing and the catering was excellent.  Thank you once again for an excellent presentation. - Albert Adams, Project Planner, STEINMULLER ENGINEERING SERVICES.
  • McManus’ presentation was very exciting. This type of info is what I believe will pique the interest of senior management: translating strategy into a project plan.  The second speaker was very helpful with PM techniques such as the prioritisation framework he said they are busy implementing, and also the common frustrations and causes of failure on projects.  Being a potential future PSNext user not knowing where to start, the last speaker was very helpful.  I find myself in the exact position of needing to motivate to the Directors the need for PSNext.
In general this was a very valuable session. Enough came out of it to motivate one to pursue it further. - Shirlette Messeir, VHF.

  • Much more than I expected not only the preview of R3 but also the speakers and the venue was great, much more than just a conference. • The attendance of the event was of great value to me, especially since we’re potential new users of PSNext. It was good to hear from current users the challenges they faced before PSNext and how PSNext contributed to resolving some of their issues. It was also good to hear their honesty in making it clear that PSNext is not a silver bullet that will resolve all issues overnight but that it can do it if properly planned and implemented. - Hennie Zaayman - DIRECT AXIS.
  • The User Group conference was very informative and enabled me to get an appreciation for how PSNext has helped other companies with their projects. It was great to be able to meet with other PSNext users and discuss common points of interest. - Colin McCall-Peat - SILVERMOON BUSINESS SYSTEMS.
  • Thanks for an excellent User Conference yesterday. The one thing that became very apparent is the fact that most PSNext implementations was met with resistance by persons not willing to change. It also came out clearly that, to overcome this resistance, implementation of PSNext must be taken in small steps, with the initial workload placed on project managers restricted to a minimum. As PMs become familiar with its functionality and recognise the opportunities offered by PSNext, specifically wrt knowing what is happening on a project, online and on-time reporting, they will gradually progress from resisting, to requiring more functions. - Hennie Briedenhann - PILOG.
  • I would like to thank you for your commitment and hospitality in conducting the annual event as well as for the gift given to us at the end. Ah, the food was magnificent.  - Fernando Salinas - NET1.
